Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas announces its Wichita-area hospital network will include Kansas Heart Hospital.
The change takes effect January 1, 2010.
Blue Cross insures 110-thousand people in Sedgwick County.
Kansas Heart Hospital is a 54-bed facility that provides dedicated cardiovascular and thoracic care.
Also on January 1, the Blue Cross network will expand to include Via Christi Medical Center.
